How should the diamond painting be stored after pasting?

Diamond paintings come with a protective release film on the outside—peel off just a little at a time, rather than removing it all at once. For particularly large pieces, it’s best to lay them out on a bigger table, taping down half of the canvas while you work on the other half. Once the diamonds are fully applied, be sure to cover them again with the release film to prevent dust or dirt from sticking to them. After everything is in place, carefully roll up the painting (just make sure the rolled-up tube isn’t too big). Then, take it to a framing specialist to have it framed—but remember to press it firmly with a heavy, flat object before framing, ensuring the diamonds lie securely and evenly. Finally, roll the diamond painting onto its reverse side, being careful not to create an overly bulky tube. Once rolled, hand it over to your framer. If you’re feeling creative, you can even try framing it yourself! Just make sure to press the frame thoroughly to smooth out any wrinkles. Depending on the type of material used, some may require gentle ironing for a perfect finish, while others—like those labeled "iron-free"—don’t need any heat treatment at all.

Diamond paintings come with a protective release film on the outside—peel off just a small section at a time, rather than removing it all at once. For particularly large designs, we recommend using a bigger table: lay the painting down halfway, apply the diamonds to that half first, then flip it over and finish attaching the rest.

Once the rhinestones are securely applied, be sure to cover them with the release film to prevent dust or dirt from sticking to them. After all the rhinestones are in place, carefully wrap them up—and it’s recommended to frame them promptly. Before framing, gently press down on the rhinestones using a slightly heavier, flat object to ensure they’re firmly secured.

Roll the diamond painting face down, making sure the roll isn’t too large, then take it to a framing specialist to have it framed. If you have the tools and skills, you can even frame it yourself—just be sure to press it flat during the process. Some pieces may require a quick ironing to smooth out any wrinkles, while others, being pre-ironed, don’t need it at all.
